Skittles
Our annual “David Elvin Skittles & Lunch” was held at The Bull Inn at Henfield. Thirty members and wives attended.
The organisation and running of the event were in the capable and experienced hands of Ken Downs, with Tony Ashby as scorer.
As usual everybody had a lot of fun which compensated for a lack of skill on the part of a number of participants. An enjoyable lunch of a variety of pizzas and quiches marked the half time of the contest.
The winning participants were as follows and their prizes were presented by Mrs Anne Elvin:
- Top Man - There was a play off between Tony Ashby and Jim Evans, which was won by Jim Evans
- Top Lady - Zina Farley
- Top Team - Ken Downs, Wilf Knighton, Christine Hart, Zina Farley and Bryan Joyner.
